develop a solution for you...it's in our name.
Initial Session: People meet with
us on an initial basis for several reasons. Usually they want to solve
an ACT! problem, or receive some specific issue training. This usually
takes 3 hours or less. More extensive needs are handled on a proposal
basis. Training for groups is charged on a half or full day basis.
Training:
Nobody likes to read computer manuals. Maybe you have some simple
questions on how to make some ACT! features work for you; or, maybe you
have staff who need to understand how to bring ACT! into your business
model. We provide training on ACT!. We are ACT! Authorized and we can
deliver the training to make ACT! work for you. We will send you a
list of topics for you to review and when we train, we work from the
list of things you specifically need. Training usually is
performed in 3 hour increments. We find it is not productive to
learn technology in more than 3 hour blocks.
ACT! Administrator Training: Many companies have a
person dedicated to managing their ACT! needs. This training is
offered to give those people a complete and thorough understanding of
the in's and out's of ACT!. The training is done at your site and
is very comprehensive. It takes 3 days to cover the material.
Topics range from repair and management to synchronization, networks and
customization. The cost is $1,950 per person and includes the

Trouble
shooting:
Sometimes ACT! doesn't work correctly.
It might be that it freezes, terminates without warning, or it might not
let you open your normal database. You may have forgotten the password
your last assistant used, and now the database is locked. For whatever
the reason, when ACT! doesn't work, your business suffers. We fix ACT!
problems. We are fast and complete. All the tools that can be applied to
your ACT! problem are available to our consultants.
Needs Assessment:
Many business
people are not certain about how to implement ACT!. Perhaps they are
unclear as to which contact management software will meet their needs.
Our job is to listen to you describe your business model, what you want
to accomplish and how you want to work. We will help you develop a plan
to implement a proven solution.
Remote Synchronization:
Let's say you have
several salespeople in the field with laptop computers or use desk top
machines at their homes. You have a office with a central database of
customers and prospects. Each week or so you need to send to your sales
people an update of all the changes to their territory; including new
leads and prospects. At the same time you need a report from each
salesperson on their efforts for that time period. ACT! can handle that
and we can help set it up for you. This particular feature of ACT!
requires periodic maintenance and we can help you minimize that effort.

Web Based ACT! Solutions:
For some companies, a
web based solution offers more flexibility. We can provide all your
ACT! data including Notes, History and Sales Opportunities to your
remote users through a secure web site. This means your people can
view and modify data, real time with your networked ACT! in the office.
This solution requires a web server integrated with your existing LAN
and third party software, but is a powerful alternative to

QuickBooks Integration:
Many small business concerns use Quick Books as
their preferred accounting system. ACT! has an add-on product that
allows the integration of QB with ACT!. You can see the QB invoices and
activity from within ACT!. We can setup the link between the two
products and train on its usage. We even have people who are
experts in accounting and QB to help with your business needs.
Database Administration:
Unlike smaller companies who
maintain their databases as they use them, companies with large ACT!
database needs require ongoing administration. Most often an
administrative support or IS person is assigned to manage the database.
We can provide support to that person through operations manuals,
overall management design and ongoing maintenance issues. You get a
complete system for managing your valuable marketing and customer
information.
Custom ACT! Design: ACT!
users want the program to reflect the way they do business. ACT! has the
ability to display information in many creative ways. We can add custom
fields to ACT!. We can change the information and fields on ACT! Tabs
and the way they work on the screen. Projects can be managed and
schedules maintained. ACT! can be made to perform calculations and
automatically fill in fields with conclusions. Outside information
databases like Excel, Access and others can be linked to ACT! and data
can be passed back and forth. Web pages can be displayed from inside
ACT! and menus changed to expand Web access. Often, companies want
to roll out custom versions of ACT! that are unique and special to their
mission.
Our hourly rate is $125 per hour.
Travel time throughout the Metro Denver area is not charged. Other
